Child Care, Pre-K, and K-12 School Staff
As of February 8, staff at preschools, child care programs and K-12 schools are eligible to get a COVID-19 vaccine. This includes teachers (full-time, part-time or substitutes), bus drivers, food service, counselors, administrative staff, and others.
School systems are coordinating with health care providers to determine the best way to get educators vaccinated. Please watch for additional information regarding vaccine registration processes from your school or child care program.

COVID-19 testing is widely available in Jefferson County, and people are encouraged to get tested after any exposure. People are also advised to stay at home if they feel sick.
