In-Home & Virtual Parenting Support

In-home or virtual parenting support (also called home visiting) is a service that provides one-on-one parenting support.

The goal is to provide education, guidance and support for Jeffco families in a safe and welcoming space. Home visitors are experts in child development who are committed to building a relationship with you and your family.

Do you need support with…

  • Managing your child’s behavior?
  • Finding health care or mental health care?
  • Enrolling your child in preschool or kindergarten?
  • Finding a child care program?
  • Something else?

The Jeffco Family Navigator can help!

All families benefit from extra support when a baby is born and as our children grow!

Contact the Jeffco Family Navigator to connect with the parenting support that’s right for you!

Home visitors meet with families to:

  • Enhance parenting knowledge and skills
  • Provide personal support
  • Connect families with community resources

A home visitor provides activities for you to do with your child that will promote bonding and healthy development.

Home visitors can be professional nurses, educators, or social workers. Home visitors may also be other parents who are specifically trained to support families in preparing young children for success in school and in life.

Home visiting is completely voluntary.

What families say…

“When we first met, I wasn’t sure how this program could help us. Now, I couldn’t imagine navigating the system without someone to help make the connections with services easier.”
